Sportsmobile 4x4 van. Magnificent!
My apologies for the awful potato pictures, it was raining a bit when I snapped them so I didn't make my best effort. And yes, I know I'm a bit late, but posting from mobile is a bitch.
This beauty was parked just outside of my office on Thursday evening, and was there all day Friday as well - I assume he spent the weekend at F1. What a machine - the tops of the wing mirrors are over 6' high. It's quite impressive in real life. Big like a mega bro truck, but so much more serious.
This is parked in a parking lot where I often see a late model Alpina B7 (daily driver, it has a separate set of winter wheels and tires). It's right at the end of the Bonaventure freeway when you get into town, so my guess is that they parked here for easy access to get out of town, and besides, what hotel car park could handle this beast?
Side note: I've failed to find even 1 single Sportsmobile 4x4 video on YouTube - anyone out there who can help? I admit I didn't try very hard, but still...

Was it white with Virginia plates?

No, it was black and had Ontario plates. I didn't have a chance to take a shot of it, as I drove past it.
